Ted A. Warpinski is a shareholder at the firm, where he has been practicing environmental, land use and construction law since 1987, with an emphasis on environmental and construction litigation. He has represented individuals, community groups, local governments, Indian tribes, small businesses and large corporations in a wide variety of matters in State and Federal courts across Wisconsin.
Ted is a native of Green Bay, Wisconsin and a 1984 graduate of UW–Green Bay where he studied philosophy and environmental policy. Ted then attended Marquette University Law School where he was a Thomas More and Boden Memorial Scholar and served as a judicial intern to the Honorable John Coffey of the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit. Since graduating in 1987, Ted has spoken and written on a number of environmental topics, formerly serving on the Industrial Advisory Committee for the Milwaukee School of Engineering’s Master of Science in Environment Engineering program and as the Seventh Circuit Reporter for the American Bar Association’s Litigation Section’s Environmental Litigation Committee, and currently serving as an elected member of the Board of the State Bar of Wisconsin’s Environmental Law Section and as a co-chair of the web subcommittee for the ABA’s Litigation Section’s Environmental Litigation Committee.
Whether helping households obtain clean water when their wells are contaminated, advising landfill owners and other businesses regarding their investigation and environmental clean-up responsibilities, assisting developers to conduct due diligence and re-develop brownfield properties, or engaging in a myriad of other activities on behalf of the firm’s clients, Ted’s focus is on personalized service and a thorough appreciation of client needs.
Ted is a diehard Packer fan/shareholder and fantasy football owner, the proud father of two grown sons Adam and Abe, and spends his free time with his wife Kelly, golfing, playing or listening to a variety of Americana music or just keeping up on the latest movies.
