S. Todd Farris is a shareholder at Friebert, Finerty & St. John, S.C. Todd graduated with honors from University of Wisconsin Law School in 1984. After graduation, he served as a law clerk to the Honorable Paul C. Gardsky, presiding judge of the Wisconsin Court of Appeals, District IV.
Todd’s practice focuses on business, insurance, municipal law and real estate litigation, including eminent domain, regulatory takings and constitutional challenges to the right to take property. He also represents owners and developers in all aspects of real estate, including transactions, securing project entitlements, negotiating project incentives and leasing. For more than 20 years, Todd has appeared before local boards and commissions in zoning, licensing and regulatory matters on behalf of individuals and businesses.
Todd is admitted to practice before the Wisconsin Bar, Eastern and Western Districts of Wisconsin, the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals and the Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia.
Todd is a graduate of Riverside High School and the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. He enjoys sailing, golf, roller-blading and fantasy football.
