Ted A. Warpinski is a shareholder at Friebert, Finerty & St. John, S.C., where he has been practicing environmental and land use law and civil litigation since 1987. He has represented large corporations, small businesses, local governments, community groups, and private individuals in a wide variety of matters across Wisconsin.
Ted is a native of Green Bay, Wisconsin and a 1984 graduate of UW–Green Bay, where he studied philosophy and environmental policy. Ted then attended Marquette University Law School, where he was a Thomas More and Boden Memorial Scholar and served as a judicial intern to the Honorable John Coffey of the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit. Since graduating in 1987, Ted has spoken and written on a number of environmental topics and currently serves on the Industrial Advisory Committee for the Milwaukee School of Engineering's Master of Science in Environment Engineering program and as the Seventh Circuit Reporter for the American Bar Association's Litigation Section's Environmental Litigation Committee.
Whether helping households obtain clean water when their wells are contaminated, advising landfill owners and other businesses regarding their investigation and environmental clean-up responsibilities, assisting developers to conduct due diligence and re-develop brownfield properties, or engaging in a myriad of other activities on behalf of the firm's clients, Ted's focus is on personalized service and a thorough appreciation of client needs.
