Friebert, Finerty & St. John, S.C. counsels lenders and borrowers in structuring, negotiating and documenting construction and permanent mortgage loan financing. For more than 35 years, we have represented the Milwaukee Economic Development Corporation (\"MEDC\"), a non-profit, City of Milwaukee sponsored corporation established to assist area businesses through a variety of loan programs in conjunction with local financial institutions. In addition to lending its own funds, MEDC is a vehicle for federal New Markets Tax Credit funds and Brownfield Clean-Up Revolving Loan funds. The firm has documented and closed more than 700 commercial lending transactions. These transactions typically involve the purchase of commercial real estate and the purchase of business assets.
